Music mingled with love,
Vibrates the body for a
while;
Enlightens the mind of the
burden,
Like the clouds about to
rain.
Sitting on a couch, my mind
takes a backward leap
Into the childhood
existence.
Those whims and fancies, laughter
and giggles;
Then being at the best of behavior,
Became an apple of an eye.
As I come out of the reverie,
Its nothing but a blessed past.
My hands flung in the air,as if for a moment saying:
Oh! Please don’t------
Don’t go my reverie, stay
for a while;
But no it was just a
mirage.
I take a sigh
Clear the lump of my
throat,
My body, without mind, like a corpse
Lies listless on the couch.
